I Remember I Love You examines memory. A textile landscape of mountains and a flowing river support a roof overhead. The landscape’s sillhouette grows to obscure archival photos from my grandfather’s life. His growing dementia has left memories from my own lifetime forgotten, but vague and confused recollections of his own childhood growing up along a river nestled between mountains in the Phillippines remain.
